The Board of Directors and Committees are essential to the Credit Union’s strong governance and continued success. They provide strategic direction, oversight and support the safe and sound management of the organisation.
For 2026, we are particularly seeking members with professional experience or expertise in:
Internal Audit
Regulatory Risk Management
Human Resources
Regulatory Compliance
Credit Risk
Retail Lending
If you are an accountant, internal auditor, compliance professional, HR executive, risk professional, lending specialist, or have experience in one of these areas, we encourage you to consider serving.

At least 18 years old.
A Credit Union member for a minimum of 12 months.
A member whose accounts have been in good standing for at least 12 months.
Maintaining a minimum balance of $1,000.
Maintaining a minimum voluntary share balance of $25.00.
Have contributed a minimum of $100 in Permanent Shares.
Up to date with your postal address, physical address, employment details and contact information held by the Credit Union.
Have at least one valid form of identification on file, such as a passport, driver’s license or voter registration card.
If you have a Credit Union loan, ensure that any required insurance policies are valid and current.
Compliant with applicable Credit Union policies and procedures.

Use your professional knowledge and experience to make a meaningful contribution to the governance and future of your Credit Union.
All nomination forms and affidavits must be completed accurately and include all required information. Incomplete nomination forms will not be considered by the Nominating Committee.
As part of the Credit Union’s Fit and Proper assessment, mandatory judgement searches will be carried out on all nominees seeking election to the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee or Credit Committee. The existence of registered judgements may result in automatic disqualification.
If elected, your nomination will be subject to review against the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) Fit and Proper criteria.
The Credit Union’s intellectual property, including its name, logo, slogan, documents, branches or other materials representing the Credit Union, must not be used by nominees while canvassing. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from the election process.
Your nominators must also be eligible to nominate you and should confirm with the Credit Union that they have been in good standing for at least 12 months.
Nominees should ensure that they have reviewed all applicable requirements before submitting an application.
