New Member Orientation

Welcome!

As part of our commitment to expanding our membership criteria, and in accordance with the recently approved Credit Union Rule 5(5), we are pleased to welcome all local private education and healthcare employees, including their immediate and extended family members. 

Private Education Employees

Effective April 2024, employees of the list of approved education facilities, are invited to participate in our new member orientation prior to joining. 

Private Healthcare Employees

Effective January 2024, employees from the list of approved healthcare facilities, are invited to participate in our new member orientation prior to joining. 

 

Member Orientation

To create the best possible onboarding experience, all interested, eligible parties must attend the new member orientation to be considered for membership.

Registrations close 24 hours prior to the event date. Registrations received after closing will not be accepted and you will be asked to register for the next available session. Upon registration, you will receive an email with a link to join the orientation

How can I validate that employees of my company are eligible for membership?

Who are considered immediate and extended family members as referenced above?

Immediate and extended family is limited to one’s parents, spouse, domestic or civil partners, children (including stepchildren), siblings, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandparents, and grandchildren including a relationship by adoption, court appointed guardian, or marriage.

Will I be required to provide evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria, to join the Credit Union?

Yes. You will be providing evidence of your eligibility as a part of the membership application process. Common documents used to confirm eligibility include job letter, birth certificate and marriage certificate.

Is the evidence of eligibility documents all that is required to join the Credit Union?

No. In addition to providing evidence of your eligibility we also require further due diligence and identification documents from each prospective member. Additional information about required documentation will be provided during the virtual orientation session.

How do I complete the application process for becoming a member of the Credit Union?

You must first indicate your interest for becoming a member by registering to attend the virtual orientation session. Once registered, you will receive an email with a link to join the orientation.
